About...

svgafft is a real-time svgalib-based signal analyzer I wrote around 1994-1996, available on sunsite/ibiblio. I hadn't updated in it in a while, so the last release (0.2h) is kind of broken for modern versions of Linux. I've recently updated it for Fedora Core 4 and svgalib version 1.9.x.

Screenshots

Version 0.2k added a ppm screen capture function, so here are some shots, the first two of the normal line graph method, and the third a kind of cheesy old school graphic equalizer emulation (with configurable options and colors, too :-). The last few are from the various other displays that were in version 0.2c/d but removed after that due to "code refactoring." The plan was to add the display features in 0.2d back, but it kind of went on the back burner. Perhaps I'll combine the two codebases one day when I get time and release it as 0.3. More likely I'll post an 0.2d1 version ported to Fedora Core 4, however (which I have mostly, with the screen capture function; just need to get around to packaging it...).
